INTRODUCTION:
Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a highly prevalent chronic disease worldwide, and represents one of the biggest public health problems of the 21st century. Its high incidence and prevalence are attributed to population aging and lifestyle, which is characterized by physical inactivity and eating habits that predispose individuals to obesity and metabolic syndrome .The global diabetes prevalence in 20-79 year olds in 2021 was estimated to be 10.5% (536.6 million people), rising to 12.2% (783.2 million) in 2045, type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes. All major guidelines point out that exercise plays an important role in the comprehensive management of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and is a basic measure to control type 2 diabetes hyperglycemia.
METHODS:
Methods: In this study, CiteSpace 6.2.R6 visual analysis software system was used to sort out the hot issues in the research on the intervention treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with exercise in the past 10 years, providing evidence for clinical treatment of T2DM. The data came from Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). From 2013 to 2023,7210 relevant literatures were retrieved, and 980 literatures were finally obtained by excluding conference notification newspapers, popular science introductions, and abstracts not closely related to the theme. Visualization analysis was performed using CiteSpace 6.2.R6 software.
RESULTS:
Results:1. a total of 418 authors from 332 institutions in 67 countries contributed to a corpus of 980 articles, containing 397 keywords.2 Distribution analysis of national institutions: In this research field, I mainly published papers in USA, China, IRAN, BRAZIL, ENGLAND, AUSTRALIA, CANADA, JAPAN and other countries. University of Copenhagen, Rigshospitalet, University of Southern Denmark, Islamic Azad University, University of British Columbia and other major publishing institutions. Explore hot issues: The three key words with the strongest centrality were adipose tissue (0.07), glucose (0.06), and dysfunction (0.06). "exercise" appeared 268 times,"physical activity"267 times, and "type 2 diabetes"226 times were the main study types. Blood glucose, BP, HbA1c, cardiorespiratory fitness, oxidative stress, skeletal muscle, insulin sensitivity, cardiovascular disease, βcell function is the most important aspect of scholars. The intervention methods include high-intensity interval training, aerobic exercise, strength, medicine, Emphasis was placed on high-intensity interval training and aerobic exercise. 4. Research on Burst analysis: Using the function of Burst detection provided by CiteSpace,93 keywords were obtained. In recent years, the sudden higher is fat, brain, mechanisms, neuropathy, etc.
CONCLUSION:
Conclusions: the number of papers on exercise intervention in type 2 diabetes has been on the rise in recent years, indicating that this is still a hot issue. At present, aerobic exercise combined with aerobic exercise is generally recognized as the best way of exercise, and the choice of exercise focuses on high-intensity interval training and aerobic exercise.
