Abstract
This study takes the common psychological problems such as depression and death anxiety of junior primary school students after the influenza epidemic as the starting point, and discusses the feasibility and practical effect of integrating Chinese traditional health sports into school physical education curriculum for group psychological rehabilitation. In this study, a controlled experimental design was adopted. A total of 6 classes and 150 students in grade 1 of three primary schools in an urban area of Anhui Province were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into control group ( A, B, C, 75 people ) and experimental group ( D, E, F, 75 people ). After the student 's influenza rehabilitation returned to school, the experimental group carried out systematic intervention with Baduanjin Qigong and Shugan Liqi Qigongs as the main body in the conventional physical education class, combined with low-intensity games ; the control group was only based on rest and general mild exercise, without structured training and emotional intervention.
After a four-week intervention and follow-up tracking, combined with heart rate variability ( HRV ) detection, teacher observation records, children 's emotional behavior scale and semi-structured interview results, it can be seen that the intervention method used in this study can effectively reduce students ' anxiety, depression and other negative emotions, reduce the proportion of self-reported somatization discomfort, and significantly improve classroom participation and positive emotional expression. From the perspective of the mechanism of action, this model is mainly achieved through three physiological-psychological-social paths : physiologically, it helps to improve inflammatory metabolism and autonomic nerve function, and improves vagus nerve tension ; psychologically, it helps students rebuild their sense of physical control and offers non-verbal channels for emotional release ; at the social level, a safe and stable collective interaction environment is constructed.
This study can provide a practical model with Chinese characteristics and easy promotion for schools to carry out group and preventive mental health work with the help of physical education curriculum in the post-epidemic era. At the same time, it also reflects the important value of school physical education in the coordinated development of ' physical education ' and ' mental education '.
