Young Investigators Award

Young Investigators Award sponsored by Masterfoods (formerly Mars Inc.)

Requirements for participation:

ECSS membership
Under the age of 32 at the time of the Congress
PhD students or equivalent or graduates less than 2 years after the PhD
Previous prize winners cannot take part in the same category again (oral/ poster)
Only the candidate may present paper as first author

Application should be verified by an authorized person (head of institute) in the applicant's department who should also certify that the investigator has made an independent and reasonable contribution to the work submitted for presentation. The verification should be submitted with the abstract before the deadline of 15 March 2006. Abstract submission will only be accepted online!

The verification plus a copy of the valid student ID including birth date must be e-mailed (Word/pdf file) or faxed to:

Incomplete applications will not be considered for the Award!

Masterfoods will provide generous cash prizes for the finalists.
